For information the Tour of Britain Cycling Route on Friday 9th September is Tewkesbury to Gloucester Docks and will be passing through Cirencester as part of this race. The route takes the cyclists down Chesterton Lane at around 12.00 – 1.30pm.
This means that there will be no parking on Chesterton Lane at all that day. Any cars parked will be towed away to a safe place for later collection by their owners.
There will also be rolling road closures while the tour passes through.
